Policies
Narrabeen Swim Academy runs classes on a continuous, perpetual, monthly basis. This means that you sign up for the day and time of your choice until you choose to stop and allows you to join our classes any time during the year. During the School Holidays we run additional Intensive School Holiday Programs over five day weeks.
Our Learn to Swim classes are offered seven days per week with Saturday classes running from 7:30am to 1:00pm and Sunday classes running from 8:00am to 11:00am. Competitive and adult squads run Monday to Saturdays throughout the year.
Our fitness classes together with our adult and competitive squad sessions run throughout the year.
The swim school is closed on Saturdays and Sundays during school holidays.

Participation in all squads, aquafit and Surf squads classes are available via monthly direct debit payments. Registering for monthly payments for these activities will ensure that your place in a squad or fitness class is always available on your preferred day and time.
If you aren’t sure if you can attend with a permanent commitment these classes or sessions every week then you have the option of purchasing a Pass Plan for one, five, ten or twenty entries.

We are a Covid Safe Centre and our policies are updated in accordance with NSW Health Guidelines. We ask all customers to adhere to the following:
If you or your child is unwell, please stay at home.
Please follow the NSW Government “Steps to Healthy Swimming”.
If your child cannot attend their class for any reason, we are happy to offer you a Make Up Lesson, provided our Make Up Policy has been followed.
Make Up Lessons will only be available under the following circumstances:
- Non-Attendance needs to be advised via the Parent Portal at least one hour prior to the commencement of the scheduled class Booking
- A Make Up Lesson will then be allocated to your account
- You will forfeit your Make Up Lesson if you fail to non-attend via the Parent Portal
- Make Up Lessons can be booked via the Parent Portal up to 24 hours in advance, subject to class availability
- Make Up Lessons are available to those members who are financial and are booked into Group Classes
- Make Up Lessons cannot be cancelled or changed
- Make Up Lessons are not offered for missed Friday Night Race bookings
- Private Make Up Lessons are in a Group Class only
- No refunds or credits will be given for missed classes
- In the event of an unscheduled closure of the Swim School that directly affects your class a Make Up Lesson will automatically be put onto your Parent Portal
- Make-ups will expire on the 30th June and 31st December each year
- Accounts that are cancelled will forfeit all make-ups.
